The business package is a full business setup with all the training in how to operate the locksmith business. It includes a full website package, custom logo design, all invoice system setup, all legal such as terms and conditions to training in how we operate, take calls to dealing with warranties through to marketing, how we bring in new business to setting up your business plan and so much more. By the end of the course you will be operating and working as a locksmith with a live business. Find out more below!

LFA1 Foundation 1 Day Course
Foundation Locksmith Training Course
LFA1 Locksmith Foundation Level 1 Awarded course. This is a foundation based award that allows you to undertake the higher levels of locksmithing. You will learn how locks work, why they fail, lock picking, key cutting, types of locks, basics of fitting, types of tools, how the tools are used and you will leave the day course being able to gain entry and pick standard locks plus much more.

UPVC Door and Window Course
A 1 day Advanced Course for Trades People
This is a 1 day UPVC Door and Window Course. Learn about Toe and Heeling, where we learn you how to deal with doors that are no longer square, they are out of alignment causing issues. Learn how to deal with beading, removing glass panels and plastic panels, how to use shims and packers to servicing and resolving multi point locking issues, along with UPVC windows, opening window locks with lost keys to replacing handles, replacing the glass to dealing with failed mechanisms, jammed windows that wont open to UPVC doors that are deadlocked and wont open through to multi point locking systems, cylinder lock issues and much more.

Lock Picking and Opening
A 1 day lock picking, decoding course
This is a 1 day lock picking, lock decoding, lock bypass course. Also known as a entry course dealing with picking basic locks to high security 3 star rated cylinders, diamond rated cylinder. From standard pins to dimple pin locks, wafer locks found in safes to car doors, picking van locks to decoding locks to make keys. You will be dealing with all forms of wafer locks, pin cylinder locks, lever locks and latch based locks such as coded locks and much more.

Mortice Lock Picking, Decoding & Fitting
A 1 day wooden door lock course
This is a 1 day mortice lock course also deals with night latches, coded door locks and incorporates basic joinery skills. You will learn how mortice locks work, types of levers to the types of picking tools that work and dont work. You will be dealing with 3, 5 and 7 lever locks, British Standard locks. You will learn how to pick the locks, make a set of picking tools and tension tool to lever lifter tools. You will be morticing wood and fitting a mortice lock and handles. You will take this away with you to practice with at the end of the course. You will learn to use multi cutting tools, drills, chisels, jigs and more along with making picking tools to using bypass tools and decoders.

2 Day Multi Point Lock Course
A 2 Day Multi Point Lock Mechanism Course
A 2 day course for in-depth multi point locking training. Dealing with all multi point locks from automatic multi point with disconnected bolts in composite doors to failed mechanisms and how to open with with or without spreaders. Technical entry training to servicing, taking mechanisms apart and repairing them to knowing all aspects of the multi point door locks from sizing to ordering, working with universal kits along with the many ways of gaining entry to doors with failed multi point locking strips. This course comes with a multi point entry set. We will also be dealing with toe and heeling, Working on UPVC windows and jammed window mechanisms to dealing with cylinder locks, handles and much more.

5 Day Locksmith Training with Accommodation UK

When it comes to locksmith training to start your own business its all about time on tools. That's why each of these courses comes with the LFA1 as a pre course which is undertaken online via video training. You then attend your course for the hands on section. Once that has been completed you then take up the 3rd stage of the course which is the advanced level 3 online training program. 15 weeks is the minimum length of training that you will require to be confident and know what your doing before you attend real jobs. You can't become a locksmith in just a few days. Its huge subject with many skills that you will need to learn and practice at home. This is why we have step by step videos and much more. So you are not buying a 5 day course, its actually 15 weeks with 5 days of hands on practical training.

5 Day Locksmith Training Level 3
5 Day Hands on of 14 Weeks of Training!
A 5 day locksmith training course with a LTTA certified locksmith instructor teaching you all aspects of a level 3 award through the GMLUK. This training will allow you to gain employment as a locksmith or operate a mobile locksmith business. The 5 days hands-on course is part of a 14 week training course. If you wish to be self employed you will require a level 3 or above which for the Guild relates to an adequate time of training to be confident to work for the public. This course has a starter locksmith tool kit that should last a few years. This is the technical tools we use as a locksmith business.

What they offer:

The come to you and deliver locksmith training at your offices, work yards and places of business. This saves you the business money of staff accommodation. But if you needed to send staff offsite then you can use Cornwall and Devon Locksmith training who will include staff accommodation as part of the course price.

They deliver up to a level 2 award from ourselves the Guild of Master Locksmiths UK for each staff member that completes the training course known as the LTSA2 award which is the Locksmith Trade Skills Award Level 2.

They include specific tools for each staff member which helps them at work, saves you money and allows them to train to the highest standard!

There is no filler, showing locks that you simply do not use. Before they arrive they will make sure the course is set to you specific requirements and training your staff on the types of locks, hardware and doors they are having issues with.

Each of the instructors also carry a LTTA certification for Locksmith Teacher Training Association Award and certificate for AET level 3 Award in Education and Training This nationally recognized qualification carries 12 QCF credits which is the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and demonstrates competence and readiness to work as a teacher, trainer, or tutor in various educational settings.

They also supply the hardware that the staff members will be destroying to see how they operate, what's inside of such locks and hardware to gain a better understanding of how they work.

They use an online training portal which is a video archive of training videos and how to videos that have been created to help keep the staff up to date with changes in locks and hardware plus they can re watch back any part of the lesson and refresh their memory if they become stuck on a job. They have full security clearance to access this at any time and its worth £1200 on its own.

They receive 24 hours after care program for up to 24 months after the course ends. This means if they get stuck then they can contact us 14 hours for access to there on call emergency locksmiths who can explain how to do the job, send over a video link to show them how to do the job.

You get a 1 day refresh course for half price. If down the line, a year or two later you wanted a refresh and update for new hardware and locks you may be encountering then they will deliver that as part of the package and training frame work!
